Preparado para acoger a miles de entusiastas de los deportes de acción, el evento de cuatro días de duración está preparado una vez más para ofrecer la prueba definitiva, ya que los pilotos y sus máquinas se enfrentarán a la montaña más dura de todas.

El Hard Enduro de un día más extremo del mundo vuelve para ofrecer un enfrentamiento inolvidable. Sigue la retransmisión en directo de RED BULL TV en https://iridehardenduro.com este domingo a las 12.00 del mediodía.

Hard Enduro: ¡Llega el Gigante de Hierro!

¡Que comience la locura del Hard Enduro!

El probado formato del evento dará comienzo el jueves con el MITAS Rocket Ride, en el que 300 pilotos se lanzarán a por todas con la esperanza de ser los más rápidos y conquistar la famosa subida de la colina.

La acción continuará el viernes, cuando cada uno de los 1.500 pilotos se enfrente a la primera de las dos Iron Road Prologue. Para los habituales del Hard Enduro, es el comienzo de las cosas serias. Con los 500 pilotos más rápidos clasificándose para el evento principal del Red Bull Erzbergrodeo, conseguir uno de los 50 mejores tiempos es súper importante, asegurando una salida en primera fila para la acción del domingo.

Como siempre, el Red Bull Erzbergrodeo pondrá a prueba a los mejores pilotos de Hard Enduro del mundo. A partir del mediodía, oleadas de 50 pilotos se lanzarán a la montaña en una carrera de checkpoint a checkpoint. Con algunos de los terrenos más exigentes del mundo hasta la mismísima la línea de meta, no hay que subestimar el reto que supone completar los 23 checkpoints.

Mani Lettenbichler quiere volver a ganar

Con la esperanza de repetir la victoria de la primera prueba del Campeonato del Mundo FIM de Hard Enduro en Serbia, así como de conseguir lo que serían dos victorias consecutivas en el Red Bull Erzbergrodeo, Manuel Lettenbichler está dispuesto a dar lo mejor de sí mismo. Mani, que ya demostró estar en una forma formidable en 2023 con su KTM 300 EXC, parte como el piloto a batir.

En 2022 fueron el español Mario Román (Sherco) y el canadiense Trystan Hart (KTM) quienes completaron el podio junto a Lettenbichler, y ambos pilotos estarán centrados al 100% en volver al podio de nuevo este año. Billy Bolt (Husqvarna), que no compitió el año pasado debido a una lesión, es otro piloto que seguramente tendrá un papel predominante en la carrera principal del domingo. Bolt, que busca recuperar puntos en el campeonato tras su accidentada semana en Serbia, intentará terminar entre los tres primeros.

Tercero en el Xross Hard Enduro Rally de Serbia, Todor Kabakchiev (KTM) tratará de mantener su buena forma e intentar plantar cara a Lettenbichler, Román, Hart y Bolt. Y con Michael Walkner (GASGAS), Alfredo Gómez (Rieju), David Cyprian (KTM), Wade Young (Sherco), Taddy Blazusiak (GASGAS) y más, todos buscarán llegar a la meta con el mejor resultado posible.

Además, Jonny Walker (Beta) regresa al Campeonato del Mundo FIM de Hard Enduro en Red Bull Erzbergrodeo. Jonny, un antiguo ganador de eventos que sabe exactamente lo que se necesita para estar en el escalón más alto del podio, bien podría conseguir un puesto entre los tres primeros.

Con el canadiense Trystan Hart compitiendo en la serie completa FIM Hard Enduro, en Red Bull Erzbergrodeo estará acompañado por sus compatriotas norteamericanos Cody Webb (Sherco) y Colton Haaker (Husqvarna). Todos ellos experimentados competidores del Gigante de Hierro, que lo darán todo para batirse con sus rivales europeos.

Y luego está el Sr. Hard Enduro: Graham Jarvis. Ganador del evento en cinco ocasiones, el británico está ansioso por añadir otra victoria en el Red Bull Erzbergrodeo a su colección.

Matt Green será el piloto a batir en el Red Bull Erzbergrodeo, en la segunda prueba del Campeonato del Mundo FIM Junior de Hard Enduro, que cuenta con el apoyo de KLIM. Ganador de la categoría en la primera ronda en Serbia, mientras se centra en un resultado entre los 10 primeros, Matt tendrá que mantener un ojo abierto para sus compañeros competidores junior Mitch Brightmore, Robert Crayston, Marc Fernández, y Richard Moorhouse.

Sandra Gómez, dispuesta a dar batalla una vez más, liderará a las féminas en su intento de conquistar el Gigante de Hierro.

El Red Bull Erzbergrodeo 2023 comienza el jueves 8 de junio, con la carrera principal a partir de las 12.00 del mediodía del domingo 11 de junio.
