La Ténéré original, lanzada en 1983, está considerada como una de las motocicletas más influyentes y emblemáticas del siglo XX. La primera moto de aventura de Yamaha —que iba equipada con un depósito de combustible de gran capacidad, un chasis robusto y un motor de alto par— dio a miles de pilotos la oportunidad de llegar a lugares muy lejanos y descubrir nuevos horizontes.

En las diferentes participaciones del equipo Yamaha en el Dakar, hemos sido testigos de las increíbles hazañas de auténticos especialistas del desierto, como Jean Claude Olivier, CEO de Yamaha Motor France y, por supuesto, la leyenda del desierto Stéphane Peterhansel, que consiguió seis victorias con Yamaha y se aseguró un lugar para siempre en los libros de récords. Ténéré 700 World Rally: la reina del desierto

La nueva Ténéré 700 World Rally, vestida con los colores oficiales de competición inspirados en la moto de Stéphane Peterhansel del Dakar de 1993, es el modelo más exclusivo de la gama Yamaha Adventure 2023, celebrando así las impresionantes hazañas de Yamaha en los rallies con una serie de diferentes modelos Ténéré a lo largo de los últimos 40 años.

Entre su equipamiento específico de rally encontramos unas suspensiones de alta gama KYB de largo recorrido, un doble depósito de combustible de 23 litros montado en los laterales, un escape de titanio exclusivo Akrapovič y un asiento plano específico de 2 piezas, además de una instrumentación TFT en color de 5 pulgadas con conectividad para smartphone, ABS activable entres modos y un amortiguador de dirección ajustable Öhlins.

Colores de competición históricos

La Ténéré 700 World Rally luce un nuevo y atrevido esquema de colores históricos de las competiciones de rally (azul, rosa fluorescente y plata) basados en el diseño de la moto oficial de Stéphane Peterhansel de 1993, para celebrar la larga historia de victorias de Yamaha en el Dakar y rendir homenaje a todos los heroicos pilotos de fábrica que han participado en la prueba más dura del mundo. Esos colores son los mismos que utilizarán los pilotos de Yamaha Alessandro Botturi y Pol Tarrés en su programa de carreras de 2023, donde pondrán al límite sus Ténéré de fábrica.

Escape Akrapovič Slip-On

Este nuevo modelo está equipado con componentes de primera calidad. El exclusivo escape Slip-On Akrapovič realza la sensación de alto par y el característico rugido del motor CP2 con cigüeñal calado a 270 grados, enfatizando las especificaciones de esta exclusiva máquina, las mejores de su categoría.

Doble depósito de combustible de 23 litros

Las motos Yamaha ganadoras del Dakar fueron las primeras de la marca en usar depósitos de gasolina de gran autonomía, y la nueva Ténéré 700 World Rally está equipada con un doble depósito de 23 litros de nuevo desarrollo, pensado para la competición y con una autonomía ideal para cubrir largos recorridos.

La mayor parte del combustible se ubica en la parte inferior, con el objetivo de centralizar las masas y mejorar la agilidad, mientras que la parte superior de los depósitos está situada más baja que en la Ténéré estándar, facilitando así la movilidad del piloto.

Horquilla delantera KYB

Los sistemas de suspensión de la Ténéré 700 World Rally están diseñados para ofrecer un excelente comportamiento en offroad durante largos periodos de tiempo. La horquilla delantera KYB de 43 mm con botellas de color negro es totalmente ajustable en precarga de muelle y amortiguación en compresión y extensión, permitiendo al piloto adaptar la moto a diferentes cargas, terrenos y velocidades. Y, con sus 230 mm de recorrido, la World Rally tiene todo lo necesario para enfrentarse a los terrenos offroad más exigentes.

Amortiguador trasero de aluminio

El sistema de suspensión trasera ajustable está al mismo gran nivel de la horquilla delantera y cuenta con un cuerpo de aluminio de calidad de competición con depósito separado, que garantiza una amortiguación uniforme. El amortiguador de la World Rally, anclado a un sistema de bieletas especial y a un dispositivo de final de recorrido sobredimensionado para una mayor resistencia a los topes, proporciona un recorrido de 220 mm a la rueda trasera.

Amortiguador de dirección Öhlins

Con 18 ajustes diferentes, el ligero amortiguador de dirección ajustable Öhlins aporta más confianza y capacidad de control cuando las cosas se complican, permitiendo al piloto sacar el máximo partido de los sofisticados sistemas de suspensión.

Asiento plano de dos piezas

Con su diseño de 2 piezas, el asiento plano inspirado en los rallys permite instalar una parrilla o el equipaje simplemente desmontando la parte trasera. El perfil plano permite al piloto moverse más fácilmente y cambiar el peso delantero/trasero sin esfuerzo, mientras que el doble material de la funda en color negro-gris proporciona una conducción firme, pero cómoda. Para una mayor exclusividad, el asiento también luce un logotipo World Rally.

Instrumentación TFT a color

Los pilotos de la Ténéré 700 World Rally pueden elegir entre tres estilos de pantalla intercambiables: digital, analógica o tipo roadbook. Además, la instrumentación TFT en color de 5 pulgadas conectada también puede enlazarse a un smartphone con la aplicación gratuita MyRide, que permite ver en pantalla las notificaciones de mensajes de texto y las llamadas entrantes.

ABS activable en tres modos

El ABS activable en 3 modos de la World Rally ofrece al piloto completa flexibilidad para elegir cómo quiere que se comporte la moto en una gran variedad de superficies. El modo 1 activa por completo el ABS en ambas ruedas, lo cual es obligatorio por ley en las vías públicas. El modo 2 lo activa en la rueda delantera y lo desactiva en la rueda trasera, lo que aporta al piloto más confianza en pistas en las que hay gravilla suelta, y el modo 3 desactiva por completo el ABS para conducir por tierra.
