Muchos ya la conocéis, pero para los que aún no sabed que la XTrainer es el nexo de unión entre los modelos Beta de la gama ocio/excursión y los modelos especializados RR y Racing. De hecho, gracias a sus particulares características, la XTrainer responde a las necesidades de todos aquellos usuarios que buscan una moto de rendimiento inmediato, pero sobre todo accesible; un modelo que les permita salir airosos de cualquier situación por muy complicada que sea y que al mismo tiempo sea fácil de manejar.

La XTrainer, por lo tanto, es una moto que ofrece un excelente paquete en términos de equipamiento técnico, prestaciones, ergonomía y diseño. La nueva versión MY 2024 recibe un nuevo diseño gráfico que le confiere estilo, modernidad y líneas sofisticadas para crear una moto atractiva a primera vista.

Inspirada en el Trial

La nueva XTrainer es una moto capaz de adaptarse a diversas situaciones. Por eso, es la moto ideal tanto si eres un aficionado que busca una moto para empezar como si eres un avezado piloto de enduro que quiere una moto menos exigente o un piloto experto que busca una compañera para el enduro extremo. La facilidad de uso de la moto en cualquier situación te permite concentrarte en la conducción y disfrutar del apasionante mundo del off road.

Con laterales estilizados, más baja que las RR, y una gran entrega de potencia, controlable desde las bajas hasta las altas revoluciones, a la XTrainer MY 2024 no le faltan caballos para competir. Sin embargo, prefiere trazados algo más lentos y técnicos en los que pueda desplegar los dotes trialeros en los que se inspira, así como poner a prueba el par motor del Beta 250 o 300 de 2 Tiempos que equipa según el modelo elegido.

Principales características de la XTrainer:

Peso muy bajo. Es muy ligera. Solo 99 kg, lo que la hace extremadamente ágil e intuitiva, incluso para los principiantes.
Altura del sillín. Se ha rebajado 20mm con respecto a la gama RR, para transmitir una mayor sensación de seguridad en cualquier situación.
Frenos. De la firma Nissin, con discos de 260mm en el delantero y de 240mm en el trasero.
Batería. De litio, ligera y de altas prestaciones.
Horquillas y monoamortiguador. R16V con brazos de 43mm en el delantero y progresivo en el trasero. Las suspensiones se pueden personalizar por completo, con horquilla regulable en precarga y extensión, mientras que el monoamortiguador es regulable en precarga, compresión y extensión.

Entrega de potencia. Dócil y lineal, para mejorar la facilidad de conducción.
Beta Progressive Valve. La válvula de escape Beta Progressive, que el piloto puede regular externamente, permite adaptar perfectamente las prestaciones del motor en todo su rango de uso.
Dispositivo de cambio de mapa con el botón en el manillar.
Depósito. Transparente de 8,8 litros y con mayor capacidad que el anterior.
Mezclador automático. Está situado debajo del sillín (que se abre con solo pulsar un botón) y elimina la necesidad de realizar la premezcla aceite-gasolina.

Neumáticos 'soft'. Gracias a su compuesto blando y a su diseño agresivo, garantizan el agarre en cualquier circunstancia, dando al piloto respuestas menos nerviosas que un neumático con una carcasa más rígida.
Ventilador de refrigeración. Aunque el motor de 2 tiempos tiene un buen equilibrio térmico, la XTrainer incorpora de serie el ventilador para que el motor se mantenga siempre a la temperatura óptima de funcionamiento, incluso en los trayectos más lentos.
Arranque eléctrico. Fiable y de precisión; esencial para volver a arrancar el vehículo en las situaciones más incómodas.
Motor y embrague. La entrega del motor, derivada de la RR, está convenientemente suavizada para adaptarse mejor a las características de la XTrainer.

Los cambios en el Model Year 2024

Estas son las características propias del modelo, pero la edición MY 2024 añade novedades muy interesantes:

Dadas estas características y las mejoras que la moto recibió con el modelo del año anterior –bastidor trasero, sistema de admisión, batería, depósito ampliado y nuevos plásticos–, la principal es, sin lugar a dudas, la inédita llave de desbloqueo electrónica.

Llave electrónica. Se trata de una llave magnética de 'tiro', derivada del trial. El dispositivo representa un gran paso adelante para la seguridad de la moto y el piloto, ya que satisface dos necesidades diferentes.

La primera. El dispositivo representa la primera protección antirrobo adicional real para los propietarios de la XTrainer que, hasta ahora, como para el resto de motos de enduro del mercado, solo podían confiar en el bloqueo de la dirección para la seguridad de su vehículo una vez aparcado. La llave magnética, como en el ámbito de la automoción, impide la posibilidad de arrancar el motor cuando está desconectada y recibe una codificación que la empareja de forma única con la moto, para disuadir del robo del vehículo cuando se deja desatendido.

La segunda. El igual que el dispositivo 'Kill-Switch' desconecta una moto de trial cuando el punto de contacto magnético conectado a la muñeca del piloto y al manillar de la moto se desconecta, lo mismo ocurre con la nueva llave con la que está equipada la XTrainer, que, a diferencia del interruptor 'Kill-Switch', está codificada para que se empareje de forma exclusiva con la moto. El apagado del vehículo evita daños en el motor en caso de accidente y proporciona mayor seguridad para el piloto en caso de que pierda el control o de que la moto permanezca acelerada en el suelo. Mayor protección para la moto y el piloto, en una única solución.

Además, también se renuevan en la XTrainer 2024:

Asiento. La espuma que compone el asiento se ha revisado en su geometría y densidad para proporcionar un mayor confort al piloto, como en las motos de la familia RR. La mayor superficie de apoyo y la distinta composición del material aumentan notablemente la comodidad de la XTrainer sobre el asiento.
Diseño gráfico. La nueva estética es similar a la de sus hermanas mayores. De hecho, el característico rojo Beta se acompaña de elementos en contraste en blanco y negro, en continuidad con el estilo que la moto adoptó con el 'restyling' del MY anterior, pero ahora aún más personalizado, geométrico y claramente reconocible.
