La BMW K 1600 Grand America está pensada para realizar largos viajes con todo el confort. La base mecánica es el moto de seis cilindros de la K 1600 GT, la estética la Bagger K 1600 B, pero con algunos extras que la hacen algo más confortable que ésta, por ejemplo el gran baúl posterior. La BMW Grand America se inspira, como su propio nombre indica, en las largas travesías que se pueden hacer por norteamérica. Tiene algunos detalles exclusivos como las luz de freno adicional ubicada en el baúl posterior, los escapes cromados y paralelos 100 por cien a la carretera, o la gama exclusiva de colores. Dentro del equipamiento opcional se abre todo un mundo para configurar la BMW K 1600 Grand America a nuestros gustos.
