Vídeo: 250 cc y 4 cilindros: la nueva Ninja ZX-25R en acción

La nueva Ninja ZX-25R, una tetracilíndrica de 250 cc, ya rueda en Jerez de manos de Jonathan Rea y Alex Lowes.

Si hay dos modelos de Kawasaki que este año nos han sorprendido esos son sin duda la Kawasaki Z H2, la naked sobrealimentada, y la pequeña pero poderosa Kawasaki ZX-25R. Una pequeña deportiva de “solo” 250 cc pero con motor de 4 cilindros en línea, como las míticas deportivas japonesas de los 90.

Aún no sabemos si la nueva Kawasaki ZX-25R llegará a Europa, pero lo que sí está claro es que revolucionará un segmento de pequeñas deportivas con altas dosis de emoción. Ya la hemos podido ver rodando en Jerez de manos de pilotos como Jonathan Rea y Alex Lowes y, lo que es incluso más importante, hemos podido oír cómo suena ese tetracilíndrico a pleno rendimiento.

Es pequeña pero matona. No tenemos aún cifras de peso y potencia pero según hemos podido saber podría alcanzar los 50 CV de potencia. Eso, además, con un equipamiento de alto nivel que incluye quickshifter, varios modos de conducción y control de tracción, algo que en principio sí está confirmado. Además, tal y como puedes ver en este vídeo, el corte de encendido no llega hasta las 17.000 revoluciones.

Jonathan Rea y Alex Lowes, pilotos del Kawasaki Racing Team de SBK, han sido los encargados de demostrar su potencial en el circuito de Jerez, y eso lo sabemos gracias a un vídeo compartido por Kawasaki en su canal internacional de Youtube. De momento tendremos que seguir esperando para saber si el hecho de que se publique a nivel global significa algo, y está relacionado con su futura distribución, o si es solo una declaración de intenciones.
