Gas Gas ha dado el paso de lanzar al mercado la TXE la primera moto de trial eléctrica que ha conquistado el título de campeona del mundo, en una categoría reservada a motos eléctricas, y con Marc Colomer, Campeón del Mundo de Trial en 1996, a los mandos. Gas Gas ha usado la teconología de Torrot, no en balde es propiaria de la marca, para hacer este revolucionaria trialera que cuenta con caja de cambios de seis velocidades y embrague, algo imprescindible para la práctica del trial y del off road en general. El motor está refrigerado por agua, la controladora por aire, y es de tipo Brushless (sin escobillas). Gas Gas ha logrado además que el rango de funcionamiento sea el adecuado para pasar un buen rato a los mandos de una moto de baja contaminación y muy ligera, tan sólo 68 kios de peso.
